The Adur Carers Association

Adur Carers Association is a registered charity committed to supporting anyone in the Adur district who is caring, or has recently been caring, for someone. The Association operates independently of all statutory and private agencies, but has the backing of Adur District Council, Social Services and the Health Authority. It is run by a Management Committee comprising carers, former carers, volunteers and professionals.

The association is based at the Carers Centre in Pond Road, Shoreham-by-Sea, where it provides a range of support and information services for carers. These include the Carers Home Support Scheme and the Carers Information Project.

The Association is also associated with the provision of day care activities for older adults who have mental health needs through the Adur Graduate Club, which meets on Tuesdays in the Lancing area. Referrals can be made by contacting the Adur Mental Health Team.

For further information please contact the Association Manager Malcolm Hartley on 01273 441094.
